In the middle of the Green Heart of Holland and surrounded by extensive peat moor polders lies the picturesque country village of Aarlanderveen. The village Aarlanderveen you can find in the middle between the big cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. The polders are pumped dry by the still working quartet of water mills.

Suydeinde Farmhouse
After the dairy part of our farm was finished in 1995, the former cattle stall was converted into a dwelling and recently into guest accommodation. The sheep rearing has been extended. Every year in March and April more than 180 lambs will be born. In and after the lambing time, the frolicking young animals are a pleasure to see.

The appartement
The apartment comprises a living area with a nostalgic kitchen (equipped with dishwasher/cooking area/ microwave and a fridge), a bathroom and a separate toilet. The magnificent double bedroom, with a wonderful panorama, has extra long beds. The second bedroom has three beds. At the rear there is a terrace, where you can relax in comfort.

Things to do:
Walking, cycling and fishing can all be done to your heart's desire. The neighbouring Lakes of Nieuwkoop moreover, provide a wealth of recreational possibilities. You must see the historic quartet of mills. In the region there are countless recreational possibilities, such as canoeing, agricultural sports, a tea garden, etc. In the surrounding cities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Delft, Gouda, Leiden) there are more than enough sights, especially if the weather keeps fine. In Alphen aan den Rijn you can visit Archeon, Avifauna bird park, the cinema or the theatre.
